Types Of Engine Spare Parts Every Truck Owner Should Know

Image
Just like you can’t function without your heart, the engine is the nucleus of your vehicle. The complex machinery lives under your vehicle’s hood to generate optimum power. Its sole purpose is to convert energy and make the trucks run smoothly. But often we forget to talk about engine spare parts.  If these spare parts stop working, the engine will also stop operating. And, being a truck owner, you must acquire detailed knowledge about important spare parts.  Important Truck Engine Spare Parts Although every part included in engines is essential, we have picked some more imperative than the others. Let’s check them out:  1. Cylinder Block In any IC (Internal Combustion) engine, the cylinder block is the main part where all the essential functions like suction, compression, combustion, exhaustion, etc occur. The cylinder is made with cast iron and steel making the compressive stretch of the items very high.  2. Piston The manufacturer slides the piston inside the cyli...

Understanding BS VI Engine Technology: A Comprehensive Guide

Image
Since 2020, the automotive industry in India has undergone multiple transformative changes. Bharat Stage VI (BS VI) engine technology stands at the forefront of this evolution. BS VI Engine plays a major role in reducing vehicle pollutants making the air more breathable and fresh. However, understanding the importance of Bharat Stage VI technology is not only for manufacturers but also for the common mass. It helps to grasp the fundamentals being invented in the automotive sector. This blog discusses the core principles, factors, importance, innovations, and benefits of Stage VI technology. It provides detailed insights to the reader into how this advancement can shape the present and future of transformation. So, let’s get started! BS4 Engine Vs BS6 Engine - Everything You Need to Know The Indian government has sensed the potential rising level of pollutants in Indian metro cities. That’s why the Central has strictly made it mandatory to impose Bharat Stage 6 emissions in vehicl...

Exploring the BS VI Engine's Potential and Impact

Image
With the increase in vehicles plying on roads, the emission of harmful gasses is considerably rising. In order to address the rising level, several BS norms have been introduced in India. The latest being the BSVI engine standards have set a new benchmark for the vehicular emissions. The introduction of this has not only promoted a cleaner environment but also made the vehicle function in a more efficient manner. In this blog, you will come across the potential of BSVI engines and its impact. Reduced emission limits BS VI engines massively cut down on the emission release, the sulfur concentration of this engine is five times more than that of the previously used engines that makes them competitively cleaner. The engine reduces harmful emissions such as Nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC) promoting a greener environment. Advanced exhaust gas after treatment system In order to meet the stringent emission standards, the BS VI engines are equipped with ...

What Are the Changes in The New BS VI Engine?

Image
Coming into effect on April 1, 2020, the Bharat Stage VI norms in India stand as the latest emission norms issued by the Government to control the levels of pollution from vehicles. These come only years after the BS IV norms, which came into effect in 13 countries in the year 2010.   The new BS VI engine comes as a significant improvement over its predecessor, the BS IV engine. Here are some of the major changes in the engines.  Reduced emissions The Bharat Stage VI engine has significantly cut down on the levels of emissions. This includes reducing some of the major pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and hydrocarbons (HC) as compared to the BS-IV engine. The engines are integrated with advanced exhaust after-treatment systems such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR), diesel particulate filter (DPF), as well as lean NOx trap (LNT). Improved fuel efficiency Increased fuel efficiency is the most notable improvement in the new BS VI eng...
